In a nutshell...

Coral & Ladbrokes are two of the main gambling brands in the UK. Live Casino industry was dominated by 2 main providers offering a limited experience to users.

We wanted to develop a fully native lobby for iOS and Android creating a more engaging experience plus bringing a fresh product to the market.

Coral Live Casino App

Problem statement

Live Dealer Apps in the AppStore and Android markets were very limited having in most of the cases HTML wrappers.

There was a lack of fully native products bringing innovative features and experiences for mobile and tablet devices.

Our goals

Create a fully native Live Casino product adding the possibility to clone it for Coral and Ladbrokes brands.

The project would be divided in 2 phases
first one will just cover the Lobby and Core areas (already live). Second one will be focused on the in-game experience (currently on-hold).

Problems we faced

and how we solved it

First problem

Huge amount of information and same content across different views

Solution

We decided to create a single component tested in different resolutions so it could be implemented in both views reducing development time

Second problem

Lack of communication between different teams at the initial stage of the project

Solution

As both teams were based in different locations,the alignment between teams was sometimes really hard. We pushed Product / Dev and Delivery teams to have bi weekly calls in order to set priorities, clarify issues and improve collaboration
